The Gefu Crunchy large granite masher with granite pestle is ideal for chopping fresh pesto or greens. The rounded bottom ensures a perfect consistency of the ingredients. On the other hand, if you turn the grinder upside down, you will find a smaller cavity - with exactly the right proportions, for example, for grinding pepper.
When starting to use

In order to get rid of the remaining stone dust inside the mill, before starting to use the mill, it is recommended to grind the rice in it - rub the rice for approx. 15 minutes and then leave them in the pestle for another 5 minutes - the white rice absorbs all the flavors and smells, as well as the tiny dust particles accumulated in the pores of the granite. After the specified time, pour out the rice and thoroughly rub the inside of the rice and the pestle with a paper towel moistened in olive oil. Rinse the pestle and mortar in warm water and let them dry.
