Description

Porcelain plate with Ninny - the invisible child. In 2019, Nini appeared for the first time on the dishes of the Arabia Moomin collection. Ninia is the main character in Tuve Janson's story "The Invisible Child", which is part of the author's Tales of Moomin Valley, first published in 1962.
Ninny is depicted on the plate in a pink dress and with a wide hair band, which Moominmamma sewed on her from a scarf found in the chest.

About the collection

Moomin dishes are liked by both children and adults who have fallen in love with the characters of Moomin Valley. And everyone can choose the one closest to them.
All mugs, bowls and plates in the Arabia Moomin Classic tableware collection illustrate the Moomin Valley characters front and back. The illustrations for the collection were created by the artist Tove Slotte, who draws inspiration from the original drawings of Tuve Jansones, while the form was designed by Kajs Franks.
